My favourite is home made pancakes with a sprinkle of sugar and lots of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Messy but yum.

I can never stick to a diet, but I watch what I eat though. I think the fact that I had a high cholesterol count and high blood pressure really made me more careful what I eat.
Though I have just had a lovely slice of lemon cake after dinner!

Have you noticed that M&S ready cooked meals are very high in salt content and virtually all their puddings have butter or cream, and in some cases they add cream to some meat courses.
I think they are trying to finish off their customers. ;)

My Daughter has just told me she's doing Ham and Cheese ones followed by Golden Syrup ones for pudding. I don't think I'll join in this year though. Lettuce ones don't seem to hold the same attraction.

Does anyone make pancakes on Shrove Tuesday? if so feel free to add your favourite recipe.
