Thanks Shiz, those reports have been very useful - what a day though eh?
I had a chap tell me how rubbish the forecast was tonight. Apparently they forecast storms and heavy rain, and all he's only had a bit of rain, so they're non too good at their job, these weather forecasters

At this rate Britain needs to consider the introduction of amphibious cars or cars that can be converted to amphibious.

My gardens got 3 foot of water running through!!!!! Sherbourne is awash with floods and cars belonging to people who dont seem to understand driving through water...

Well, at about [email="8@28pm"]8:28pm[/email] there was a thunderstorm about 5-10 miles NW of Stratford last night. That's a rough estimate on all accounts except the time though.

Well we might get our chance sooner rather than later. We are in the center of the disruption map with 80% chance of catching a heavy thundery downpour on Friday/Saturday- that is VERY high.
75 to 100mm expected in our region - get those flood defences in action, with those figures it really will be flash floods.
