Capture technology is something that worries me. A massive leak (it's a heavy gas) and we potentially have rather a lot of deaths

Great idea, but won’t really get rid of the problem, as a lot of the CO2 will end up going back into the atmosphere, and storage is often prone to leaks: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-57588248 There’s some interesting research going on, turning C02 into useful carbon products, though: https://www.thechemicalengineer.com/news/turning-co2-into-carbon-black/#:~:text=In%20the%20NECOC%20research%20project,high%2Dquality%2C%20solid%20carbon.
