Dog attacks
Quote:
Warwickshire dangerous dog attacks double as police called out 400 times in just one year
Data has been revealed in a Freedom of Information act request

The number of dangerous dog attacks across Warwickshire has doubled in just over four years. In fact, police attended just over 400 call-outs last year alone.

This was twice the amount compared to 2020/2021. The grand total of call-outs to reports of an owner or person in charge allowing dog to be dangerously out of control and injuring any person between 2020 and the start of 2025 was 1,412

Data revealed in a Freedom of Information Act (FOI) request made to Warwickshire Police has shown that the number of incidents has steadily increased over the last few years.
