I was installations manager for a local security firm in the early 80s, you really wouldn't believe how unaware the average company is about security.
One of my friends was head of corporate security for a local car manufacturer. He often used to come to me to make him small observation devices or trackers. He'd often share the results of my endeavours over a pint or two. But the trouble he had convincing the top management that they had a problem was unbelievable... Until a truck load of expensive components went missing!
