One of my local (chain) pubs looks like looks like it's not going to be opened again - barricades across the car park entrance etc. I'm not surprised, really, it was a bit dingy & the staff didn't seem to be all that motivated.

I suspect we are going to see a lot more of this.
According to The Morning Advertiser we're currently losing 30 pubs/month. The fall out from COVID isn't going to help things.
