I won't spoil it Lex, I'm not a fan.

I used to love sci-fi as a teen, but then I just seemed to go off it. Shame really, as I read many very good books from that genre.

I've been a sci-fi (and fantasy) fan for years, but I'm finding - at least bookwise - that I've been coming to the end of that particular road. I've read most of the books written by the authors I like over the years; many of them have passed away, and those that remain only publish books occasionally. I've tried other authors, but they don't seem to be of the same standard.

Well, went to see it on Saturday. It wasn't as good as I hoped, basically because a lot of the plot has been recycled from previous films, plus a couple of other things that didn't make sense (I think, just to crowbar a couple of the original characters into the film).
