I had heard of this, but that was an interesting article.

Data harvesting is unavoidable nowadays. I've given Facebook up, but Google/Supermarkets/Shopping sites/banks etc etc are still gathering up a lot of data about me. Unfortunately, life is very difficult if you don't use the interweb nowadays.

Aww have you really given up FB , Lex? I just don't give the any information about me , and I don't do shopping or banking online. I know there are other social media sites, but I just can't be bothered with them, I'll just stick to FB. Hope you will come back, Lex.

Does iPhones collect data? I never never download apps.

Yeah, I had concerns about all the data harvesting, and the new design pushed me to closing my account down. Mobile networks keep records of calls/text messages etc; I'm not sure if they keep contents of messages.

That new design is horrible. I still use faceache, but nowhere near as much as I did.
