Interesting thought, Shizara. I did help a local guy stand as an independent a few years back, but he was wiped out by the red rosette brigade. Sadly, in Coventry, you could stick a red rosette on a pig, and it'd get elected! - In fact, quite a few have! |

Labour got it's expected kicking, and months of political haggling are coming while parties try to form administrations: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr5pdv12elmo Sad news, Rebbonk; Cllr O'Boyle's been kicked out of office. |

I'm heartbroken. LOL Maybe now we'll start to see some sense in the regeneration of Coventry and vanity projects being abandoned? |

I think we're going to see a lot of alliances made as the results sink in. |

I suspect a lot of political instability amongst the 'ruling' classes over the next few years, making the Conservatives' last stint look like a well run machine. |

Well, let's see how those now in the seats perform. There might be noticeable changes, there might not. It will be wait and see. A bit like making a cake. Put the ingredients together, put it in the oven and see if it sinks or rises. - The proof is in the pudding. |
