The building on Henley Street is owned by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, who late last year revealed their plans to turn it into a new destination cafe/restaurant called Will’s Kitchen, once Patisserie Valerie’s lease expired. So it's Roll on Will's Kitchen then. http://www.stratford-herald.com/95205-breaking-news-stratfords-patisserie-valerie-closes.html?fbclid=IwAR1ihhSKUn6FL_GbWwftApy9rkfJDm8RNfWAWJPiX2dzkU2LBDBPEkhSdlQ |

My heart sinks. It would be nice to have something 'new' that isn't Shakespeare related. |

I never knew and surprised to learn that The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust owns the building, it must be worth a couple of million . I guess the Shakespeare industry is a big tourist attraction for Stratford. Could it survive without it? |

It's probably got to the stage where the town can't survive without the tourist industry. I can remember when Stratford still felt like it belonged to the townsfolk, now a lot of locals call it 'Blackpool on Avon'
