I needed to check available train services to get to Birmingham tomorrow morning. Sometimes it means going by taxi to Coventry. This is the service offered:

Two and a half hours for what is normally a half hour journey. Not an option. Have since been able to get a ride in with a work associate.

My ex lived in lutterworth, I live In Atherstone, it used to take anything from 3 n half to 5 n half hours to get to see her. I once had to get a train from Atherstone, change Nuneateaton, Bedworth, Coventry, and finally get to rugby to catch a bus to Lutterworth. I stayed in a hotel on my own cos her parents didn't like me.
Now years on we've been split over a year and her parents still invite me over, ask me to stay and even fetched me when I had no transport. It's a 20 minute car journey. If they hadn't have prejudged me and had helped...
