A warm, bordering on humid afternoon and "Bill's mother" decides to visit, at approx 16.05 pm. The heavens opened up and a hail came slamming down against windows, roof etc. The poor old drains had no hope of coping and within minutes, rain and fast melting hail had overflowed the drains - the ones that are not already blocked with silt that is - spilling over into gutters, across the road, over the footpath.

Another couple of deluges since then... on the bright side, my roof doesn't seem to be leaking.

It doesnt just rain any more it quite literally poors! where I live in hartshill the small carpark soon turns into a river!
