Knowing the area, I'm not surprised about the reasons behind this. As a society we really need to take a much harder line on vandalism and its underlying causes. |

The amount of money vandalism in parks costs most councils it would be prudent to employ park keepers. also where does a child go if it needs information, or there is an accident, with no office in parks nowadays. We once had an office in Bedworth park and one at the skating rink where we hired skates, but thats all gone. I can imagine what it will be like in summer if this equipment is not replaced. |

A valid point Cathidaw. I wonder how much more it has cost in repairing vandalism than the Parkie's wages ever cost? |
