I have friends in the police and ambulance services and they are dreading this weekend. Apparently, some police forces are staffed up to New Year's Eve levels and are expecting trouble.

The pubs in my area seem to be staggering reopening. Can't wait.

I'll avoid them this weekend. I'll take a wander down Monday or Tuesday afternoon with the dog.
