You may well be right. I know of several instances of poor management by trustees, and it can be a real b*gger to bring them to book. One case I know, the trustees sold property for £40k to a local businessman. I suspected it was worth a lot more and asked to see their independent valuations on the property. - Red faces all round, they hadn't bothered getting a valuation. I know (but will never prove) that money had changed hands! |
