I can sympathise with Wellesbourne's allotment holders - it takes a lot of hard work to establish your plot, and it looks like they're all going to have to start over: http://www.leamingtoncourier.co.uk/news/historic-wellesbourne-allotments-threatened-by-houses-1-8033779

The way things are going in this country I have a feeling that allotments are going to indeed become a community asset.
