This is the tip of a very nasty financial iceberg. The education sector has been running a very questionable financial model for years. Expect more F.E. establishments to seek help. I've never worked for this group, but I have friends who have. The stupidity and pettiness that has gone on in the group are unbelievable. |

This is usually the problem, Lex. Nothing will change, and they'll be back in a couple of years with the begging bowl again. I worked as a consultant in the private sector. The first rule was to remove all of the senior management, as they were responsible for the present situation. |

I remember signing up for a FE course at Leamington College after I left school. One of the 1st things the head of the course said wad "We're here to make money" (I nearly walked outat that point). It's a shame they couldn't live up to that. |
