I wasn't aware of this foodbank - I thought Wellesbourne came under Stratford's: https://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/foodbank-celebrates-a-year-of-working-with-local-extra-care-scheme-38137/

I really think the word 'celebrates' in the headline is wrong. That we need foodbanks in this day and age, is to my mind disgraceful. However, I do think that those running them and those that donate should be recognised; but 'celebrate' just doesn't sit right with me.

I enjoy looking around churches, and foodbanks remind me of big boards in some of them stating 'Mr X or Mrs Y gave £n to be invested to provide bread to the parish......'

What goes around, comes around.

I think this tends to be true.

Oddly enough, although I'm not religious I enjoy visiting old churches and just soaking up the atmosphere.
