I've had a week of work, and been making the most of the weather & had a good rest. Has anyone else been enjoying the sun?

I've only ever used a supermarket delivery service once, because I was ill. I much prefer going into the shop - I can get exactly what I want/suitable alternatives.

Yes, but when you get old, decrepit and no car , it is not a bad alternative to have delivery sometimes.

:D

I use Tesco delivery service because I can't be bothered to fight my way around the shops. I've had some amusing substitutions which I see as a challenge to use, however, all is not well. In the last 12 months, I have had 3 orders cancelled. Two I was informed about, and given about 4 hours notice of cancellation. Frustrating, but not insurmountable. The other one, I wasn't informed about and waited up until about 23:30 before giving up and going to bed.

I tried to complain the Tesco's CEO, but he's so important he has an extra layer of customer service surrounding him that is difficult to penetrate. I haven't yet given up on contacting the self-important oaf, but I am losing the will to continue trying.

My advice, Margaret, is to complain to Tesco, via their whatsapp service. They have been quite generous to me over most things.

I did complain , but not by using WhatsApp. I managed to message them on facebook, but all they could do was apologise. I think its likely that they do investigate how the error was made.

I doubt it Margaret. They offer the trite old excuse that the picker is new and the manager will have a word. - That usually provokes me to start management bashing and explaining in no uncertain terms that it isn't the picker's fault; the management or supervision are to blame for not training the picker correctly. That usually gets me an extra voucher. ;)

Occasionally, having worked in Quality Assurance has its advantages, as does being a fan of Deming, the man who helped the Japanese beat the world in manufacturing after WW2.

I heard a roll of thunder at around 06:00 , when I got up to start the morning with a cup of tea, there were a few spots of rain, but not enough to water my plants. :)

Tesco screwed up my order this week. They delivered 2.5Kg of onions after I ordered 1Kg. I complained via whatsapp, and within 10 minutes had been given the onions for free and the delivery charge refunded. - Every little helps! :)

That's what I call good customer relations Rebbonk. :)
Do you use any other store for deliveries?

I see the pathetic FB thought police have been through my account, and restricted my posts now.
Apparently I shared a dangerous video , but they haven't told me which one. I have a link to the offending video , but it doesn't work. So I have no clue what they are on about.

I use Tesco for my general food and household stuff, and Amazon for everything else. Apart from my weekly trip to the post office to pick up some cash, I can't remember the last time I entered a physical shop.

Join the club! Zuckerberk {sic} is slowly ruining it. It isn't too big to fail.

I'm regularly in F/B jail or on restrictions. What really upsets me though, is others seem to get away with it.

I have successfully appealed on many occasions, but it seems as if the black mark stays against your name. I know of others who have multiple accounts to get around these restrictions, but if F/B find out they ban you.

TBH, if I was expelled it wouldn't worry me, I don't really use it that much these days. I keep in touch with people via whatsapp.
